Partial ISB R2 results were apparently released yesterday (6 days in advance) evening with many people posting "I'm in!" messages on ISB-PGP Yahoo Group and pagalguy. My status was not updated and I received neither an email nor an sms from the ISB adcomm so I'm effectively still sitting on the fence. It also seems that I'm not the only one.
My best guess is that only the accepted candidates were informed, with the ISB adcomm choosing to subject both the rejected and the waitlisted candidates to a few more days of Fear Uncertainty and Doubt. Since they do not work on weekends, no updates are expected till Monday at least, and I cannot even call them up to verify if any more admits are left to be informed.
Unacceptable and unexpected behaviour from them, but I have no choice but to put up with it. Will post an update as soon as I get one from ISB.
